"ourDictionary" is THE ONE for your kids!
A fantastic dictionary that could be differently customized for each one of your children.

"ourDictionary" is an 8 language offline dictionary for kids aged 3 to 12. It includes the languages (English, Arabic, French, German, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) and translates more than 5000 words and more words could be added by the users from the Internet.

"ourDictionary" Features:
It includes 8 languages: English, Arabic, French, German, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese; and includes more than 5000 words.
Multiple users accounts could be created (with or without password) for privacy and personal preferences.
It translates up to 4 (out of 8) languages simultaneously. Those 4 languages could be customized by each user according to his/her preferences and education requirements.
Users with passwords (6 digits or more) have the privileges of editing the words translations and deleting the account.
The default language for the "search" feature could be chosen by each user.
It provides the pronunciation of the words in the different languages (Internet access required for the first time only for each word).
Words / Categories images could be changed through iPad photos or Internet search (Internet access required).
More words (not in the default ourDictionary words) could be added by the users (through Microsoft bing, Internet access required).
Examples could be added for each word in each language. This facilitates the learning process for the kids.
Words synonyms and related words could be added for each word.
The "Recording" feature lets users practice with their own voice (up to 60 sec/word/user).
Different categories could be created by each user, and words could be added in each category.
All dictionary words and each category words could be viewed in an images view or a side-list menu view.
The side-list menu has an alphabet to filter words by letter.
Recent words (up to 20) would be saved for each user.
"Word of the day" is randomly generated by the app.
Feedback / Rate / Share (facebook, twitter, email) is available for the app.


Each User customization features:
Creating account (with or without password) with name and photo.
Creating categories and adding words in each category.
Choosing default language and the preferred other three.
Recording and practicing with his/her own voice.
Having his/her own recent list of visited words (20).
Having his/her own favorites folder.


Internet access required for:
Pronunciation of the words (first time only).
Adding new words to dictionary.
Adding images to words and categories from web.
Feedback / Share / Rate.
Note: The app default photos for words and categories are just examples used from Internet (not app copyright) and users may change them easily as desired.
